Our Mission
What Sets Us Apart
Instead of going for shorter, sporadic vacations we travel for extended periods, usually several months to a year. Our last journey through Europe lasted 22 months.
We take the time to not only explore the highlights of tourism but also live with locals, trading work for our room and board. We believe that spending time with locals gives us a stronger insight into their culture, traditions, history and current events. We connect with hosts through organizations such as Workaway, HelpX, and Couchsurfing.
Not only do we get the local’s perspective from volunteering, but we sometimes live in areas of the country not often visited by tourists. We are constantly surprised by new and amazing sights we previously hadn’t known existed.
Our Goals
We want to share our adventures and show that you don’t need to break the bank to plan and execute your own incredibly long journeys.
