Ingredients:
-
Bananas
-
Coconut oil
-
Cocoa mass (or powder if you like, but you may need more coconut oil)
-
Lemon
-
Optional: toppings and icing! (This one has edible flowers and fresh berries)
Proportions in this recipe are up to you, depending on how big and chocolatey you like your cake!
Blend the bananas in a food processor until smooth. Melt the coconut oil and cocoa together in a pot on the stove, stirring to blend it all together. Add the melted mixture to the bananas and blend the mixture together until well-combined and smooth. Give it a taste and add more of anything if desired. Once well-blended, add a spritz of fresh lemon juice and give a quick final mix.
If desired, prepare a crust in the bottom of the cake dish, a bottom of blended nuts is delicious! Remember that the cake is raw, so any crust you decide on shouldn’t require cooking. Pour the cake mixture into the dish and place in the refrigerator to cool and set.
Decorate if desired, and serve chilled. Delicious with fresh berries!
